Congressman Darin LaHood serves the constituents of the 16th District of Illinois. Originally sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015 after winning a special election, he won re-election to serve his fourth full term in Congress last year. Rep. Lahood serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee and is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Work and Welfare.
LaHood also serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party. Congressman LaHood also co-chairs the bipartisan US-China Working Group, and is an active member of the Digital Trade Caucus, the U.S.-Lebanon Friendship Caucus, and the Congressional Soccer Caucus.
