Alex Mooney is the son of a Cuban refugee and Vietnam veteran and grew up with a deep sense of appreciation for the American ideals of individual freedom and personal responsibility.

Alex was first elected to Congress from West Virginia’s 2nd District in 2014. He serves on the House Financial Services Committee. He is a principled conservative fighting for lower taxes and less government regulations on businesses to create more jobs in America.

He is now running in the GOP primary for the Senate seat currently being held by veteran Democrat Senator Joe Manchin.
