Chris Eddy is a Republican running against Debbie Wasserman Schultz for Florida’s 25th Congressional District. He and his wife Anne, a retired FBI Agent, live in Weston, FL with their two high school children.
Chris is a retired Air Force Reserve Brigadier General and a retired FBI Intelligence Leader. While serving in FBI Miami, he built the FBI’s #1 intelligence program out of 56 nationwide.
He is a City Commissioner in Weston, FL and was elected with the highest vote total in City history, despite being in a 3-person race.
As the grandson of immigrants, his family always prioritized education. He has a PhD in Leadership and two Masters degrees and teaches national security and foreign policy issues at Florida International University.
He was inducted into his high school and university Leadership Halls of Fame.
He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Weston, focused on environmental and veterans issues and is a Board of Director at The Prestige Club which focuses on caring for disadvantaged children in Broward County.
His advocacy for local businesses resulted in the Weston Chamber of Commerce naming him its Community Champion in 2023.
He also authored two books on leadership.
