Congressman Richard Hudson has served in since 2013, currently representing North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District. In the 118th Congress, Hudson was elected by his colleagues to House Republican leadership as the Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) and sits on the Energy and Commerce Committee. This position places Hudson 4th in line to Speaker and makes him the highest ranking Republican Member of Congress from North Carolina in history.
